December 13, 2014 - Joanne Jones of mined reCREATIONS who organized a dress-making event on December 13th where volunteers made dresses for each female student in the Mom2Mom Africa Urafiki program. Space for the event was donated by the Cambridge Centre for the Arts. The dresses will be part of a care package hand-delivered to all Urafiki Program students in April 2015.
December 2014 - Through the generous donations provided by Mom2Mom Africa supports and Urafiki Program families, all primary Urafiki Program students and Orphanage students were able to go on their very first school field trip. The field trip was to Tarangire National Park Safari and was a Christmas surprise to the children!
December 6, 2014 - Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Oakville raised over $1300 and collected enough socks and underwear for all of the Urafiki Program students. The socks and underwear will part of a care package hand-delivered to all students in April 2015. The $1300 will help pay to transport the care packages to the students, buy textbooks for students and food for in-need families in Tanzania.
November 2014 - Oasis Footwear in Dundas, ON donates 105 pairs of students to be donated to students in Tanzania. Each student in the Urafiki Program will be provided with a pair of shoes. The shoes will be part of a care package hand-delivered to all students in April 2015.
September 2014 - Summer Report Cards are available on the Urafiki Program Student Pages.
August 8, 2014 - "Through their Eyes" Project is released. A gallery of photos taken by children in Arusha to see life through their eyes. A calendar of these photos was made available for purchase.
July 9, 2014 - Brand new CHETI 4 School (newly named Conquer Academy of CHETI) completed for our students.
June 26, 2014 - New Notebooks are sent to all Urafiki Program students.
December 2013 - New School Uniforms, Gym Uniforms and Food for Families sent to our Students
